My name is Michele Nocchi, although I chose to publish my photographic work under my mother's surname, Perle, to keep it separate from the career I built in advertising and filmmaking.
I am an Italian photographer, filmmaker and former Creative Director.
For more than a decade I lived and worked in Los Angeles, collaborating with international agencies, production companies and clients across Europe and North America.
It all began many years ago with a Nikon FM2 I bought during a trip to Thailand. Without realizing it, I had started a journey that continues to this day.
Photography has remained the one constant throughout my life. My work is organized into long-term personal projects, each born from curiosity rather than assignment.
Alongside my personal work, I spent more than twenty-five years as a Creative Director and commercial film director, creating campaigns for international brands and collecting a few awards along the way. But that's another story.
